Welcome to the Model Dark Ride project! Started in 2019, our goal was to design a unique dark ride experience, in which the story of a brilliant inventor and her innovative take on an immersive art experience is captured by a miniature camera making its way through some iconic scenery on our custom ride vehicle. Our team has been working to create a miniature ride-through experience that transports the guest into the Parisian skies of Van Gogh, the disorienting geometries of Escher, and the surrealist wastelands of Dali. The multi-disciplinary Dark Ride team has been tackling the nuances of attraction design, from story development and layout, to ride vehicle design and electronics packaging, and the final building stages of the project!
